Malynda Hale is an accomplished actress with experience across stage, film, and television. She has performed in beloved stage productions such as Once on This Island, Dreamgirls, and Bye Bye Birdie, and has appeared in numerous national commercials, independent films, and television projects.

Her screen credits include the Lifetime movie A Hunt for Truth with Willa Ford, as well as Lust, Lies and Polygamy alongside Alicia Mason and Tremayne Norris. Most recently, she starred in the feature film Bull Street with Loretta Devine and Amy Madigan, which premiered at the Pan African Film Festival in February 2024, screened at the Sarasota Film Festival in March, and opened in Regal Theatres across South Carolina in June 2024. She also co-starred in the short film Ex-Husband with Danielle Beckman and Bobby Moynihan, which premiered at the Silicon Valley Film Festival in 2023.

On stage, Malynda has taken on a wide range of roles, including “Tanta Kringle” in the Troubadour Theatre Company’s Santa Claus is Coming to Motown, Medusa and Psyche in Cupid’s Eros at The Getty Villa, and the Soul Sister Fairy Godmother in Cindy and the Disco Ball: A 70’s Cinderella at the Garry Marshall Theatre.
